July, 2008Ike R. and wife see cougar walk across a path directly in front of them (20 yards) at the south end of Beckley Road in Battle Creek. Cougar walked out of soybean field and was stalking two deer

Reports by the public, when carefully screened for reliability, and used in conjunction with other information and evidence, can aid in assessing population status.
