JACKSON County Sightings



1965Grand River between River Junction and Tompkins Center and Tompkins Center - 12 miles NW of jackson. A black cougar observed on a dairy farm twice. About as big as a doe deer, jet black in color, long tail nearly as long as it's body. Estimated at 5-6' long from nose to tip of tail. Observer has actually killed a mountain lion out west and knows what one looks like.BLACK
