09/08/07Northwest Wayne County near subdivision about 30 yards behind the house
12/24/07Hines Drive/Hines Park between Newburgh and Stark Roads. On the side of the road 10 yards away. Estimate about 100-150 pounds near a place formerly known as Diamond #8.
04/11/085 Mile and Ridge Road. Cross the road in front of vehicle heading toward preserved natural park area with trails/ponds
07/20/08Grosse Ile between Meridiean 25 feet from back door. 11 p.m. Jet black cat about 100 pounds noticed when took dog for walk Found tracks that were 3 1/2" and broken tree branches

Reports by the public, when carefully screened for reliability, and used in conjunction with other information and evidence, can aid in assessing population status.
